I chased the threads as recommended and put in a new plug today. The new one was still pissed about going in, but it went in straight and snugged down fine. Needless to say, I'm not going to pull this plug again until I'm putting in new heads (which hopefully is sooner rather than later!). It ran great on the way to work today, so I'll keep you guys posted if I lose that cylinder again. I'm still unsure if the miss was caused by oil/mystery liquids in the spark plug gallery or if it was caused by the plug itself, but like I said, the plug looked like crap so it needed to be replaced anyways. The others look okay, but I might make it a priority to get new ones on every cylinder shortly.
